Mentoring Women in Business Program

Joining Powers To Empower Women

Huriya Private and the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women have partnered on the Foundation’s Mentoring Women in Business program. In this partnership, Huriya Private is funding 50 scholarships for women entrepreneurs to take part in the program as mentors through the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund, in turn supporting 50 more women entrepreneurs as their mentees. Mentors and mentees are all women entrepreneurs in low or middle-income countries. They are carefully matched to suit each other’s needs and skills and work together for one year through the Foundation’s online mentoring platform. They will be in three groups, taking part in the program from November 2021 to 2022, May 2022 to 2023, and November 2022 to 2023.

This Is How We Do It

They will be in three groups, taking part in the program from November 2021 to 2022, May 2022 to 2023, and November 2022 to 2023. The Mentoring program is always free-of-charge to mentees, however, mentors either have to be a member of a partner’s workforce and have their company pay for their participation (and that of their mentee), or cover the cost themselves. By funding these 50 scholarships, Huriya Private is supporting 100 women entrepreneurs in total – mentors and their mentees.
